Cinte Techtextil China confirmed for September 2020

Asia’s leading international trade fair for the technical textiles and nonwovens industry returns to Shanghai in 2020 for its 14th edition. The fair is confirmed to take place from 2 – 4 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, its home for the last three editions. The previous fair in 2018 hosted some 485 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, while there were 13,203 visits coming from 55 countries and regions.

Reifenhäuser Reicofil sets new standards in quality, output, line availability, efficiency, and machine intelligence with the new technology for the production of spunbond, meltblown, and composite nonwovens. The spunbond and meltblown technologies were totally revised for the RF5 technology The RF5 is also equipped with digital solutions from the Reifenhäuser Digital Business Platform. Toray agrees to acquire Alva Sweden AB

Toray Industries, Inc. announced that it has concluded an agreement with AB Anders Westerlind to decision to purchase all of the shares of Alva Sweden AB (“ASE”), a manufacturer of cushions for automotive airbag systems, and acquire ASE and its two subsidiaries, Alva Confecções S.A. of Portugal and Alva Tunisia SA of Tunisia (these three entities are hereafter collectively referred to as “Alva”). AB Anders Westerlind wholly owns ASE. The transaction would close soon after required official procedures are completed.
