Retech will present advantages of its leading godet rolls at Techtextil

Godet rolls are essential components in the production of synthetic fibres. These heated, ambient or cooled rolls help achieve the perfect yarn quality for a range of materials and applications when it comes to heat treatment for filament fibre applications. Retech's heated godet rolls are designed to meet critical requirements: delivering precise temperature control tailored to each material and maintaining consistent temperature levels throughout the process.

Leveraging cutting-edge technology, including single-zone or multi-zone heating via induction, Retech’s designs guarantee accuracy and precision in temperature profiles, thereby ensuring constant yarn quality with every production run.

In addition to the energy-saving motors and energy-optimised heaters, a very important part of the Retech godet concept is the long service life and the associated permanent availability, thus reducing machine downtimes and customer claims. Therefore, Retech has equipped its godets with additional measuring elements in order to be able to react preventively to possible damage and subsequent failure.

Thanks to the sophisticated, innovative and proven temperature measuring transmission system - UTR-6A, which measures the temperatures in the rotating godet and transmits the data to the temperature controller UCR-6 for processing without contact, it is possible to take further measurements, collect data and evaluate them. To protect the godet, the bearing system, the induction heater, the ongoing production and ultimately the sustainability of the entire process and the godet itself.

Successful trade fair appearance of the IVGT members

With a total of 38,000 visitors from 102 countries and 1,700 exhibitors, the 20th Techtextil 2024 from 23 to 26 April in Frankfurt am Main once again maintained its position as the world's largest trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens. The Industry Association for Finishing – Yarns – Fabrics – Technical Textiles also draws a positive conclusion about the course of the trade fair for its members.

SA Dynamics receives Innovation Award

Making buildings and clothing completely sustainable in the future and thus protecting the climate - SA-Dynamics is making this a reality. Circular economy, sustainable and regional: Gebr. Otto has answers to the topics of Techtextil 2024

Techtextil, the most important trade fair of the year for Dietenheim-based yarn spinning mill Gebr Otto, came to an end last Friday, April 26. The company presented its products and reported on its latest developments at the BW-i joint stand: These include a concept for sustainable period underwear developed together with Kelheim Fibres, a yarn blend of cotton and native hemp and the collaboration with the recycling studio at ITA Augsburg. The Gebr. Otto trade fair team can draw a positive conclusion: numerous visitors on all days of the fair as well as orders for samples and new project inquiries to take home.

DiloGroup’s In-house Exhibition on the occasion of Techtextil

Techtextil in Frankfurt is traditionally one of the most important show events worldwide for DiloGroup as a specialist for complete nonwoven manufacturing lines with a long-term speciality as provider of state-of-the-art needling lines. Also this year, Dilo and group members TEMAFA and Spinnbau were situated in hall 12, booth B81, their traditional location, adjacent to needle specialist Groz-Beckert as well as partners and competitors.

CHT Group announces new technical findings within its organIQ seek platform that significantly advance the transition toward permanganate-free denim bleaching. Through extensive industrial testing and application research, CHT confirms that organIQ seek can now be used with remarkable effectiveness as a substitute for potassium permanganate in spray bleach, while remaining aligned with sustainability expectations and cost realities in the European market. At the COLOMBIATEX in Medellín as well as at the Exintex in Puebla and the Kingpins Show in Amsterdam the CHT Group will present organIQ seek as an alternative to potassium permanganate.

PERFORMANCE DAYS: Focus topic shifts to the beginning of the value chain
