Innovation Collection

The weaving yarn collection transfers the concept of technological fashion yarn with a strong green imprint to its 6 families.

Treated Wool

The wool-based technical blends combine the roots of natural fibres with their timeless, unique properties and a contemporary and dynamic mood which looks to performance and fashion tastes. Total Easy Care (TEC) treatment (SRP Ercek Nm 64/2, SRP Nazik Nm 62/2) offers wool yarns for practical, crease-proof garments which can be washed at home. SRP Gressoney Nm 76/2 and SRP Gressoney Stretch Nm 76/2 are available in Total Easy Care wool and extra-fine polyamide tops blend.

Wool blends with “high-tenacity polyamide” Cordura® (SRP Cord-Wool Nm 76/2 and SRP Cord-Wool Stretch Nm 76/2) are ideal for producing urban-active garments of a natural feel which are wear- and abrasion- resistant. “Chlorine-free” X-CARE® treatment makes such garments eco-friendly and eliminates the need for dry-cleaning.

Monteverdi Nm 26/3 in 100% mercerised wool 25,5 mic. is suitable for producing fabrics with a shiny, smooth surface and bright look for lightweight, functional jackets, while Maui Shirt Nm 90/2 creates Total Easy Care, extremely light and comfortable fabrics for shirts or other applications requiring light weight.

Smart Mix

The yarns in wool and cationic polyester are excellent allies for producing fabric with optimum heat-insulating, breathable and abrasion-resistant properties and they are also available in a stretch version for maximum comfort. The possibility to yarn dye at low temperatures with excellent colour yield makes this family a smart and sustainable solution.

The line is being greatly renewed thanks to plain yarn SRP Bresson Nm 40/2, also subdivided into SRP Bresson Stretch Nm 38/2 and SRP Bresson SST Nm 40/2, fast to cross-dyeing. Available in a quick service range of 40 colours, 20 melange and 20 plain fashion colours (the colour card is the same for articles Bresson, Dahl, Frenz, Frommel), they are ideal for fabrics of varying weight for jackets and suits with lively designs and sophisticated colour patterns.

Elaborate colour effects are also created by SRP Dahl Nm 60/2 and SRP Dahl Stretch Nm 58/2, characterized by a wavy base which gives depth to fabrics and intense melanges. Both are also available in 2 tops-dyed bases: SMC Multicolour “Hot” in warm red and camel tones and SMC Multicolour “Cold” in grey, blue and green tones, which can be both yarn or piece over-dyed with a “Chanteclair” colour effect, rich in shades and character.

Natural Warm Effect

The celebration of the heritage of British wool and the warm designs of classic wool fabrics is the fruit of selected blends using extra-fine wool, viscose and cationic polyester. Country-chic winter elegance is revisited in a contemporary and functional style, with a focus on bright, faceted colours and the wavy, voluminous and three-dimensional effects inspired by the textures found in nature.

SRP Kahlo Nm 40/2 and SRP Kahlo Stretch Nm 38/2 are the new iconic points of reference for this gritty way to interpret wool, which proposes warm, practical fabrics and bright shades which bring Shetland fabrics to mind.

SRP Sottobosco Nm 48/2 and Sottobosco Nm 24/2 in wool and wavy, irregular viscose, SPR Clark Nm 60/2 and SPR Clark Stretch Nm 58/2 in wool, cationic polyester and wavy, irregular viscose which can be over-dyed, create a speckled, raised yarn inspired by the rustic textures of Donegal wool, in 3 colour versions which pay homage to bark, moss and small forest fruits.

Green Light

Südwolle Group's research into sustainable fashion which is dedicated to the protection of natural resources reaches new objectives and creates a visionary language for fashion which replies to growing environmental sensitivity.

Among the wool and recycled pure wool yarns, recovered from top quality by-products originating from our manufacturing processes, also available in blends with recycled polyester and biodegradable polyamide, we can find new yarns SRP Morland Nm 76/2 and SRP Morland Stretch Nm 74/2.

Their wool- and biodegradable Amni Soul Eco® polyamide-based blend brings life to versatile garments and hard-wearing and dynamic travel suits, using fabric able to decompose quickly at the end of its life cycle.

Monsone Nm 16/2 and SRP Caspio Nm 40/2 create soft, lightweight fabrics in pure recycled wool; SRP Libeccio Nm 64/2 in recycled wool and polyester, also in a stretch version, is the yarn for casual, sustainable garments.

Luxury Blends

The sophistication of Merino, cashmere, camel, baby alpaca, Schappe silk and organzine silk blends underlines performance, extra-soft hand feel and a natural look.

Moneglia Nm 60/1, Larix Nm 60/1, Ulmus Nm 60/1, Jackson Betaspun Nm 60/1 become the privileged language of the technological luxury of noble fibres.

Omega Twist Omega Twist (OTW®) is a new technology developed by Südwolle Group to create a very even yarn that results in a clean fabric with a technical look.

H.Fancy Collection

H.Fancy has always had its stylistic characteristic in its search for inventiveness in the structures, three-dimensionality and volume which personalize fabrics. The observation of nature with its surfaces, tactile and visual sensations is an inexhaustible source of inspiration as a token of elegance and empathy with the environment.

Bright Chic

Thanks to the presence of lamé-based filaments in blends using extra-fine wool or wool and alpaca, a precious movement is created. Flashes and tricks of golden and silver light pervade daytime and evening fabrics through Teti Nm 2/72 and Pallante Nm 9000, yarns which need nothing else to give life to an up-to-date, elegant mood.

Cellulose mix

The encounter between wool and man-made fibres allows the expression of new sensitivity towards wavy, shiny fabrics which cite natural textures and have contemporary functionality. New yarn Elio Nm 18.000 emerges from a wool yarn paired and twisted with LENZING™ Lyocell (Tencel™) for a soft, slippery effect, silky to the touch. Viscose blends offer elegant, three-dimensional wavy and frizzed effects, which lend themselves to bright colours and enhance garments with a fluid fit.

Bouclé

Voluminous, wavy and weightless yarns, classic leads in patterned winter fabrics, our bouclé yarns are obtained from roving or yarn. Their effects, voluminous and soft hand feel create a variety of elegant textures which pay homage to the natural world. Wool, alpaca and mohair are the best fibres also for brushed fabrics with a flock effect which reproduces the original noble fleece.

All the yarns offered in this family are supported by a rich range of colours inspired by the season's natural suggestions, with melange, plain or mouliné yarn-dyed colours.

Soft & Slubs

The desired irregularities which come from naturally slubbed yarns with microslubs endow fabrics with the personality and charm for unique garments. Fibres with differing dyeing affinities respond heterogeneously to the dyeing process, bringing forth subtle tricks of colour which enrich the fabric with three-dimensionality and movement. Estia Nm 6.000 is a new yarn of a significant weight in wool and slub cotton, while Crono Mouliné Nm 18.000 brings the preciousness of an irregular yarn in bourette silk twisted with wool.

“Highlight cooperation projects”

During Filo Südwolle Group will also showcase another inspiring project with Santoni, renowned producer of circular knitting machinery. It is the combination of Südwolle Group’s performance wool blend yarns, Santoni Group’s X MACHINE technology and the fibre expertise of EMS Grilon® that result in a new footwear concept: Santoni’s X MACHINE offers the possibility to knit intarsia items for designing a seamless upper in countless patterns and colour combinations. It allows the mapping of different areas resulting in a shoe upper that is ready to be applied to the sole. This way the production process becomes more efficient and costs can be minimized. Taking advantage of the natural anti-static, breathable and elastic properties and structure of the wool fibre, it is possible to enhance the potential of the footwear and heighten its performance.
