Collaborative Highlights of 2025
Among the program highlights is a dedicated lecture series in collaboration with ReHubs, the Brussels-based initiative driving circularity in the European textile sector. Through this cooperation, Dornbirn-GFC continues to promote cross-sector partnerships in textile waste recycling and the use of recycled fibers.
A second program highlight is the RWTH Aachen & Industry Partner Block, curated by Prof. Thomas Gries. This series of joint presentations exemplifies how academic research and industrial practice converge:
+ Staler Anlagenbau GmbH: “Sorting It Out – Inspired by Waste”
+ RWTH Aachen University: “The Journey of a New Material in the Construction Industry”
+ LEIPA, Schwedt: “A Simulation-Based Path to Energy Efficiency in BCF Yarn Production”
+ OceanSafe: “coNea by OceanSafe”
+ A Global Outlook: Dornbirn-GFC Activities Worldwide
Dornbirn-GFC is expanding its reach in 2025 with key international events:
