Made with New Renewable Feedstock to Reduce Carbon Footprint

NILIT, a global leader in premium Nylon 6.6, will introduce at Techtextil their latest sustainable Nylon 6.6 innovation. New SENSIL®    ByNature is a revolutionary premium Nylon 6.6 product for the technical fabrics market that incorporates renewable raw materials in place of fossil feedstocks. SENSIL®    ByNature is crafted with certified Biomass Balance (BMB) material, a breakthrough innovation that significantly improves the sustainability profile, life cycle analysis, and environmental impact of technical fabrics. Technical textiles made with SENSIL® ByNature provide a meaningful way to help reduce carbon footprint while retaining the same comfort, performance, and longevity that NILIT products consistently provide.

“We are pleased to be the first company to bring this ground-breaking Nylon 6.6 to the technical textiles market,” says Ilan Melamed, NILIT General Manager. “SENSIL® ByNature is a critical addition to our extensive portfolio of sustainable premium Nylon 6.6 products that deliver the functional and environmental standards required for today’s most advanced performance fabrics.”

NILIT offers the most extensive collection of sustainable performance products on the market today. As the leader in sustainable Nylon 6.6 solutions for a wide range of textile and apparel categories, NILIT recently launched SENSIL® BioCare, enhanced with a special technology that helps lessen the persistence of textile waste in sea water and in landfills; SENSIL® EcoCare crafted with recycled Nylon; and SENSIL® WaterCare pre-dyed Nylon, which saves 100% of the significant volume of water used in the traditional wet dyeing process.

In addition to the full SENSIL® portfolio, NILIT will also present samples and garments representing its complete range of Nylon 6.6 technical fibers specifically designed for performance textiles such as NILIT® Toughtex, Cordura®, Tactel®, and Supplex®. Plus, every fiber in the NILIT portfolio is produced according to NILIT’s Total Product Sustainability criteria for responsible manufacturing.
