Mahlo on stage at 36th Nonwoven Days in Hof
Mahlo was literally "on stage" at the 36th Hof Nonwovens Days. Mahlo's Head of Sensor Development Karl-Heinz Beying presented new ways of X-ray measurement on nonwovens. The brand new Gravimax MMX sensor for the Qualiscan QMS system combines X-ray absorption and X-ray backscatter technology for high accuracy in nonwovens production.

Product Manager QCS Matthias Wulbeck was also on site: "The combined measurement with the new sensor significantly reduces material dependency. In addition, the Gravimax MMX enables the measurement of components such as binder or fiber content. The measuring range is also far greater than with conventional X-ray technology.
The presentation was well received by the audience and we had interesting questions afterwards."
