#ITM 2026
Vandewiele Group presents integrated textile innovations at ITM 2026
The company states that the presentation reflects its strategy of supporting textile manufacturers with integrated technologies designed to improve efficiency, flexibility and productivity across different production segments.
A major highlight will be the introduction of a new cabler and twister technology for DTY, ATY and FDY yarns. According to Vandewiele, the solution is aimed particularly at the carpet industry, where finer denier yarns are increasingly being used to create softer surfaces, premium touch and new visual effects. The system enables efficient processing of finer dtex yarns in a single-stage operation while supporting high quality standards and greater production flexibility.
In the velvet segment, Vandewiele will present its next-generation cut & loop velvet technology. The company transfers its established 3-rapier carpet weaving technology into velvet applications, with the VSi23 servo dobby and VSi33 jacquard machines designed for significantly higher productivity compared to conventional velvet looms. The machines support dense fabrics, higher pile heights and a broad range of yarns, including PP and PET fibers, for applications ranging from luxury upholstery fabrics to technical textiles.
The Group will also highlight developments from Bonas in jacquard weaving technology. The Bonas Ji jacquard range combines high weaving speeds with hook capacities from 2,688 to 17,280 hooks. At ITM 2026, the company will additionally introduce the new JiM model, covering the range from 6,144 to 7,680 hooks. Features such as preventive maintenance, smart energy management and full diagnostics of the selection system are intended to improve machine reliability, efficiency and energy performance.
Another focus area will be IRO Gauge Parts for tufting machines in carpet manufacturing. Produced in Sweden, the range includes modular and single components designed to influence carpet structure, appearance and feel. Vandewiele emphasizes the availability of customized solutions tailored to customer-specific requirements.
With its broad technology portfolio, the Vandewiele Group aims to demonstrate how integrated machinery concepts can support textile manufacturers in addressing changing market requirements and developing more differentiated textile products.
