JEC announces new business meetings event for the composites industry in Central Europe

JEC and Targi w Krakowie Ltd. (Trade Fairs in Krakow), are thrilled to announce the launch of a new event, JEC Forum Central Europe, dedicated to bringing together suppliers and buyers from the region. The inaugural event will take place in Krakow, Poland, on September 17-18, 2025.

Building on Success with a Regional Focus

Following the success of established JEC Forum events in Italy and the DACH region, JEC Forum Central Europe aims to provide a focused platform for business interactions within the rapidly growing composites market of Poland, Czech Republic, and surrounding countries.

JEC Forum Central Europe is envisioned as a biennial event that will alternate with KOMPOZYT-EXPO®, starting 2025. Every two years it will be rotating to different cities in the region. This alternation will ensure a continuous and strengthened presence in the region, providing regular opportunities for meetings and exchanges for the composites industry in Central Europe.

Anne-Carole Barbarin, Regional Events Director at JEC, expresses her enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to launch the JEC Forum Central Europe and contribute to the dynamic growth of the composites industry in this region. This event will provide a unique platform for targeted business interactions and valuable market insights, fostering collaboration and innovation.”

Ewa Woch, Vice President of Targi w Krakowie Ltd. (Trade Fairs in Krakow Ltd.), is equally excited about this partnership. “For 14 years we have been successfully organizing International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Technologies and Products KOMPOZYT-EXPO® – the only event in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to composite materials and technologies. Krakow, Poland’s second largest city which is also one of the country’s biggest tourist attractions, is well connected by both road and air to all of Europe and offers excellent accommodation and business facilities. This makes it an ideal meeting place for leading manufacturers and distributors from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine and Hungary. Secondly, interest in composites in our region has been growing for years, mainly due to increasing demand driven by the development of wind energy, automotive industry, and the need for modern construction materials, especially now for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Targeted Business Connections and Market Insights

As previous Forums, the event will offer two core elements:

  • Pre-arranged business meetings: Participants can leverage a dedicated platform to pre-schedule targeted meetings with potential partners, ensuring efficient and productive face-to-face interactions.
  • Conferences and market insights: Industry experts will deliver insightful presentations on market trends, technology advancements, and regional opportunities, fostering knowledge sharing and inspiring innovation.

Dates:
KOMPOZYT-EXPO®, EXPO Kraków, Krakow, October 16-17, 2024
JEC Forum Central Europe, Holiday Inn Hotel, Krakow, September 17-18, 2025
