World Economic Forum selects Evrnu as 2024 Technology Pioneer

The World Economic Forum (WEF) today announces Evrnu, a pioneering textile innovations company, as a distinguished Technology Pioneer in their 2024 cohort. As part of this honor, Evrnu will engage in the WEF Forum’s Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains.

The World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers are a highly selective group of 100 early-stage companies from around the world that are at the forefront of new technologies development and innovation. Past winners include Google, AirBnB and Spotify.

Evrnu is recognized today for their innovative technology that combines mechanical and chemical methods to break down recycled clothing, extract their raw materials, and turn these fibers into new materials. One of these revolutionary new materials is: Nucycl® - the world’s first, high-performance 100% recyclable material made entirely from cotton textile waste. Earlier this year, Evrnu launched their first DTC product made with Nucycl: ‘The 360 Hoodie.’

“We are honored to be named as a Technology Pioneer by The World Economic Forum for our work in textile regeneration,” said Stacy Flynn, co-founder and CEO of Evrnu. “For decades, the fashion industry has been working within a supply chain model that operates under the misguided idea that our resources are endless. We’re here to disrupt this thinking. We are emboldened by this opportunity to further our mission of reducing the negative environmental impact of the textile ecosystem so that humanity and the planet thrive in harmony.”

As part of the 2024 WEF Technology Pioneer cohort, CEO/Co-Founder, Stacy Flynn - who was recently tapped to speak at the 50th Anniversary of the International Women’s Forum for their ‘Women Changing the World of Technology’ programming - and President, Christopher Stanev, will work alongside global leaders across the technology and innovation space to help develop industry-spanning solutions to our textile waste crisis.
