Denim by Première Vision continues its expedition in Asia, and launches: DENIM BY PREMIÈRE VISION ASIA

+ The event for premium brands in Shanghai, October 2012
+ China, a strategic crossroads in an increasingly powerful Asia
China, by now the second world power, and more broadly Asia, were natural choices for Première Vision SA, which continues its successful international expansion.
A high-growth region, China has in a mere few years become an economic and demographic hub, with an interest in premium textiles and a new denim consumer market increasingly attentive to the fashion content of products.
Which is why Première Vision SA, the world leader in fashion-fabric trade fairs, is strengthening its position on this continent, where the stakes are so vast, thanks to the new Denim by Première Vision Asia show.
Denim by Première Vision, a successful concept
With its particularly pertinent and unique concept, Denim by Première Vision has skilfully brought together the industry’s most creative and innovative international companies.
As an extension of the Paris concept, which will have assembled a full 81 exhibitors this year, Denim by Première Vision Asia will accompany the companies selected by Denim by Première Vision Paris, rounding them out with a local offer (from China, Japan, Southeast Asia, etc.), primarily comprised of companies specialised in manufacturing / washing-out. The latter must meet the selection criteria and standards of Denim by Première Vision.
This unprecedented show will provide a work platform for jeanswear buyers from China as well as other parts of Asia. Thus, a broad promotion and marketing plan will be deployed beyond the Chinese domestic market, targeting brands from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan so as to offer premium local sourcing.
Denim by Première Vision Asia is planning to welcome some forty exhibitors for its first edition.
An appointment set for October 2012 in Shanghai
The twice-yearly show will take place in Shanghai, a strategic Chinese mega-city, in a not-yet revealed venue in keeping with the unique style and codes of the denim community.
It will be held the third week of October 2012, already a major appointment for the fashion/textile industry in Shanghai with the by-now established Première Vision China, and other key events ensuring a very large presence of jeanswear industry buyers and professionals.
The Denim by Première Vision success story should therefore be extended in less than a year to fertile Asian regions.
