Texprocess 2015 with growth

Just under a month before the start of the leading international fair for processing textile and flexible materials (4 to 7 May 2015) the third session of Texprocess has let more space compared with 2013. Among the exhibitors, some 270* in all, the most important international market leaders will be showcasing on larger stands in four halls, and in special areas and events. In all, Messe Frankfurt expects more than 1,650 exhibitors for the two leading fairs Texprocess and Techtextil.
  • More businesses in the most important product Groups
"Our further strategic development of Texprocess is bearing fruit: we are expanding those product groups on which visitor interest focuses, extending our complementary programme especially for the clothing industry, and creating more synergies with concurrent Techtextil", says Michael Jänecke, Head of Brand Management Technical Textiles and Textile Processing. "Thus, as Europe's only trade fair for the clothing and textile-processing industry, Texprocess is serving once again as an incentive for the industry.

"Registrations have increased considerably in four product groups: Design, Product Development and Automation Technology; Stitching, Joining and Fastening Technology; Fusing, Setting and Manufacturing Preparation; and particularly in Product Processing and Finishing. The other product groups have remained stable. At Texprocess 2013 the most important sections included Stitching, Joining and Fastening Technology and Materials; IT, Design, CAD/CAM; and Product Processing and Finishing. "Here we have been growing significantly compared with 2013. Thus what the exhibitors are offering reflects more closely what trade visitors want", says Michael Jänecke.

Once again the world market leaders will be represented at Texprocess. Companies with the largest stands include: Amann & Söhne, Bierrebi Italia, Brother ISM, bullmer, Coats, Dürkopp Adler, Ferd. Schmetz, Gerber Technology, Global International, Gütermann, Hornung Indupress, Human Solutions, Juki, Konrad Busche, Morgan Tecnica, PFAFF, STRIMA, Tajima Industries, Teseo, Typical, VEIT and VI.BE.MAC.

Among the new exhibitors which this leading trade fair will welcome are: Action Potential, Anita B, Astron Technology, Audaces, Bierrebi Italia, caddon printing, Color Digital, E-Nygma, Epa Teknoloji, EPSON, FPUH Rexel, IECHO Science Technology, Kunz Textil, Mind Software, New-Tech, Optitex, Oshima, Ozbilim Tekstil Makinalari, Racing Sewing Machine, Saypas Makine, Schips AG, Seripress, Shanghai Garment Group and York Technology.

Eleven firms have already registered for the special area IT@Texprocess, including BEDAV, Futura Retail Solution, Insys, prodress Software, Speed Step and TXTE Solutions. Exhibitors' products will be focusing on the latest product-lifecycle management and enterprise-resource planning systems and on innovative supply-chain and planning solutions for fashion, textiles, retail and production.

The transformation of Source it from an area of its own to an independent product group has resulted from visitor and exhibitor needs and underlines the intention of orienting Texprocess even more closely towards the markets. "Through this change we are responding to the fact that businesses are concentrating more strongly on the trade fairs for clothing fabrics which take place several times a year and are likewise organised by Messe Frankfurt, such as Apparel Sourcing in Paris and New York. This reflects the attitude of modern sourcing, with up to ten collections a year", explains Michael Jänecke. In 2013, around 60 companies made a presentation at the Source it area.

During the trade fair visitors will be able to enjoy a comprehensive complementary programme, including Texprocess Forum, the Texprocess Innovation Award and the new Innovative Apparel Show in the Foyer of Halls 5.1/6.1 and Hall 6.1. Since the beginning of March trade visitors have been able to obtain information about all exhibitors, products and the various events at the Texprocess Website.
