BRÜCKNER Stenter Supplied to Cape Town

Just recently FINITEX (PTY) LTD. decided to buy a BRÜCKNER stenter of the new generation with split-flow air circulation system. This line will be used particularly for finishing Raschel fabric with a portion of elastic nylon fibres.
BRÜCKNER STENTER SUPPLIED TO CAPE TOWN

FINITEX (PTY) LTD. was established in 1969 in Cape Town (South Africa). Since then the firm has grown to almost 50.000 m2 factory floor space. Finitex production comprises warp knitting, weaving, piece and garment dyeing, finishing and printing, of nylon polyester (including micro-fibres), elastane, cotton, viscose and blends therefore and also ring spinning of cotton yarns. Products are sold both locally and internationally, with particular growth in the European market.

The Finitex management team decided on the BRÜCKNER "split-flow" stenter because it met all of the requirements that were specified for this project. Another contributing factor is that Finitex have two existing BRÜCKNER stenters that have performed well over many years.

BRÜCKNER´s stenter concept with split-flow air circulation system is characterized by the evenness of air circulation, the large evaporative capacity and the high temperature accuracy. The sold range has 8 compartments and has been designed for a working width of 3,200 mm. The stenter is provided with energy saving fan motors with inverter control ensuring the separate setting of upper and lower air - accurately and reproducibly.
In addition the line is provided with BRÜCKNER´s automatic monitoring and control system MULTICONTROL. This enables Finitex to feed the data into their internal organization system and to make a multitude of evaluation processes.

A two-stage heat recovery unit reduces on the one hand considerably the energy demand for the stenter and saves on the other hand enormous heating costs for hot water generation. For this purpose BRÜCKNER´s air / air and air / water system, both proven in practise for years, have been used. In these units, exhaust air, fresh air or water pass through heat exchanger blocks in crossed counterflow. This principle ensures not only the highest possible heat transfer but also a minimum pressure drop and simple cleaning.
