Celebrating in Jiaxing!
Customer-closeness is the driving force behind Trützschler’s past success – and it fuels the future plans for business growth worldwide too. Trützschler Textile Machinery (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. is the latest demonstration of this approach in action. Known as TTMJ, it began operating in 2022 and mainly focuses on the nonwovens market in China.
TTMJ is the second wholly owned subsidiary of the Trützschler Group in China, joining our well-established subsidiary Trützschler Textile Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The pandemic made it impossible to celebrate the launch of TTMJ as the latest key investment into the company’s international growth. Now, two key phases of the site’s construction are complete.
A special ceremony
Representatives from the Trützschler family and top management welcomed customers and partners from local government, universities and industry associations to honor this big moment on February 24. This date marks the Lantern Festival, which falls on the final day of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Lanterns symbolize reunion and the emergence of a new, future-facing self. Trützschler chose this date to unite key stakeholders and officially open its new, future-facing production center.
Nonwovens? No problem!
The new facility in Jiaxing is split into two areas. The first area covers 27,000 square meters and produces nonwoven equipment and components. The product range covers complete spunlace lines (inline and crosslapped) and thermo-bonding lines, as well as opening and web-forming systems for chemical-bonding and needling punching lines. The second area covers 9,000 square meters. It is equipped with an automatic coating line, laser cutting machine and bending machines, as well as an automated storage and processing system.
Close to customers worldwide
This investment from Trützschler supports Trützschler' s strategic focus on customer-closeness as a powerful driver for business growth worldwide. TTMJ now offers customers across China even easier access to technical service from its team of nonwoven textile experts. It further deepens Trützschler’s presence in the large and fast-growing Chinese market. The positive spirit and open dialogue during the ceremonial event in Jiaxing reflected this commitment to collaborative progress. And the future-looking celebration was a fitting way to announce this latest step forward for Trützschler.
An additional ceremony took place in China recently to mark another major milestone in Trützschler’s global expansion. Representatives from the local government signed an agreement for Trützschler to purchase 19 acres of land in Pinghu. Trützschler Group will now build a factory to serve the card clothing and machinery components market via its new subsidiary, Trützschler Machinery Components (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd.
