Milestone for Sundsvall project – Environmental permit application proceeds to public consultation

The Västernorrland County Adminstrative Board has decided that Renewcell's application for an environmental permit for its planned plant at Ortviken's industrial area will be posted for public consultation on 19 April 2021 through an ad in the regional newspaper Sundsvalls Tidning.

The decision means that the Administrative Board has found the application, including the Environmental Impact Assessment, to be complete and that the permitting process proceeds to the next phase. 


The decision also means that the overall project can proceed according to the previously communicated timeplan.
