Building on the success of its inaugural event, Textiles Recycling Expo 2026 welcomed 5,607 visitors across the two days. Alongside its first-ever co-location with Future Fabrics Expo, the event created a unique platform that united the entire textile recycling value chain and sustainable materials industry for two days of business, innovation, collaboration, and high-value networking.

The exhibition featured more than 169 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and solutions spanning textile collection, sorting, fibre regeneration, recycling machinery, AI-driven automation, digital traceability, circular materials and manufacturing innovation.

The conference programme welcomed 71 expert speakers representing some of the world's most influential brands and organisations, including H&M, On, Volkswagen, DHL, Shein, Textile Exchange, Primark, Fashion for Good, European Commission, European Environment Agency (EEA), UNEP, EURATEX, PCIAW and many others.

One of the standout additions for 2026 was the Reju VIP Lounge, which provided an exclusive meeting space for industry leaders, exhibitors, partners and invited guests. At the entrance to the lounge stood a striking textile elephant installation, serving as a powerful reminder that textile waste is the industry's "elephant in the room" – a conversation that visitors embraced throughout the event.

The expanded Industry Alliance Hub also proved a major success, bringing together seven organisations including EURATEX, UKFT, PCIAW, ReHubs, Accelerating Circularity, Fedustria and Denim Deal. The consistently busy feature highlighted the growing importance of cross-industry collaboration in building a truly circular textile economy.

Visitors also benefited from complimentary access to Future Fabrics Expo, expanding opportunities to discover sustainable materials, innovative fibres and next-generation textile solutions, creating an even richer visitor experience.

The inaugural Textiles Recycling Awards were another highlight of the event, recognising organisations and individuals making outstanding contributions to advancing textile circularity, innovation and sustainability across the global industry. Winners across six different categories included Beyond Retro, Elis, Green Worms Waste Management Private Limited, Circ, Renasens and Epoch Biodesign.

The success of the second edition reflects the rapid growth and momentum of the global textile recycling sector, with increasing collaboration across the value chain and a shared commitment to accelerating circular solutions.

Dates have already been announced for next year, with Textiles Recycling Expo returning to Brussels Expo on 16–17 June 2027. Following the event's continued growth, the 2027 edition will move to Hall 5, providing even more space for exhibitors, visitors and new features.
