For the second time the Innovative Textile and Apparel Show opens its virtual fairground this year. For the second time also Mahlo takes the chance to get in contact with customers from all over the world. The experts from Germany will present the latest systems and solutions for efficient and high-quality textile production and finishing. Thread-straight goods and optimised processes

In the textile industry, Mahlo is synonymous with high-quality automatic weft straighteners. The experts' recipe for success is decades of experience paired with the latest technological developments. Whether roller or needle straighteners, whether for the finest textiles or heavy fabrics - interested parties can find out about the right equipment for their specific requirements.

Solutions for technical textiles and nonwovens

Support in the production process is also available for technical textiles and nonwovens. The focus here is on the Qualiscan QMS quality measurement system.

The modularly designed system, which consists of sensors and measuring frames, measures, logs and controls critical parameters such as basis weight, moisture or layer thickness across the entire fabric width. Depending on the application and task, different measuring methods are used for this purpose.

Starting January 1, 2026, Stefan Moll will take over the management of Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG, the world’s leading provider of measurement and control technology for web-shaped materials. With this move, Mahlo is focusing on the long-term safeguarding of its market position and technological leadership. The current CEO, Rainer Mestermann, will leave the company after 14 years as part of a planned succession arrangement.

Knitex Industries Ltd. (Mondol Group) invests in advanced Mahlo technology

Bangladesh’s Knittex Industries Ltd. is known for its commitment to top-quality knitwear and responsible produc-tion. To further enhance fabric quality, the company has invested in a Mahlo Orthopac RVMC-15 weft straightener. From October 28 to 31, 2025, the international textile industry will gather at ITMA Asia in Singapore – and Mahlo will be present as part of the "German Pavilion Finishing" with innovative solutions for process optimization. Yarn Expo Spring 2026 wrapped up successfully on 13 March, as a record-high of over 600 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions welcomed more than 25,000 visitors from 113 countries and regions. Held across 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the fair highlighted the textile industry’s accelerating shift toward a lower-impact, more functional future. Exhibitors presented eco-friendly organic, regenerated and recycled yarns and fibres, alongside innovative options such as sweat-resistant and high-performance materials. A comprehensive fringe programme further enriched the event, offering practical market insights and new networking opportunities.

ANDRITZ at Techtextil 2026: Sustainability and advanced technologies

International technology Group ANDRITZ will be presenting its innovative nonwovens production and textile solutions at Techtextil in Frankfurt, Germany, from April 21 to 24, 2026 (Hall 12, B95).
