With the establishment of Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd., the Brückner Group, based in Leonberg, Germany, marks another important milestone in its long and successful company history. The new subsidiary in Coimbatore, India, brings Brückner significantly closer to its Indian customers – both geographically and strategically.

The new subsidiary offers the full range of Brückner’s products and services: new machines, modifications, spare parts, technical consulting, machine upgrades, and after-sales service. All machines are still manufactured in Tittmoning, Bavaria, Germany, while sales, installation and service are handled by the newly formed local team in India.

The leadership of Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd. reflects deep industry experience and regional expertise: Mr. Thomas Wiget, who brings over 31 years of professional experience in India, has been appointed as Director of the subsidiary. Mr. A. Venkatesh Babu is responsible for sales across India, with a particular focus on the Eastern and Southern regions, while Mr. Vinod Kumar V. manages sales in the Northern and Western parts of the country. Together, this experienced team ensures close customer proximity, professional consultation and reliable support throughout India. With the foundation of Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd., the family-run company underlines its long-term commitment to the Indian market and continues to strengthen its global sales and service network.

William Clark & Sons have been providing world class linen direct from Northern Ireland to customers around the world for nearly 300 years. The Company is the only supplier in the world that can produce Beetled linen fabric with that unmistakable sheen. Using the Beetling process the fabric gets pounded for 20 days by wooden hammers on the original beetling engines. This equipment is as reliable today as when they were commissioned over 100 years ago, and the process remains unchanged.

A Penteadora SA has successfully started up a complete mechanical textile recycling line and a needlepunch nonwoven line supplied by ANDRITZ at its production site in Unhais da Serra, Portugal.
