Jayashree Textiles, DuPont Biomaterials collaborate to launch new sustainable fabriccollection

Jayashree Textiles recently announced the launch of a fabric collection made with Sorona®, a sustainable, partially bio-based polymer, and JayaShree Textiles (part of Fortune 500 global conglomerate - Aditya Birla Group). The collaboration meets the needs of a growing demand for sustainable fashion options. The collaboration blends linen and partially bio-based Sorona® fibers to create garments with exceptional stretch and recovery, luxurious drape and a smooth, soft hand feel.

Textile Exchange has published the first in a series of seven Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies designed to improve the quality and robustness of environmental impact data for raw material production across the fashion, textile, and apparel industry. The first LCA study focuses on cotton and addresses critical data gaps and methodology variability through new high-quality data across key producing countries.
