Belcoro certification for Zouping Tongda Textile Co. Ltd. The key to new markets

Belcoro Certificate (c) Saurer
At ITMA ASIA 2014 in Shanghai, Jan Roettgering, CEO of Saurer Schlafhorst, presented the Belcoro certificate to Liu Hongliang, the owner of Zouping Tongda Textile Co. Ltd. The Chinese textile company has had two Autocoro weaving yarns of 100% cotton in the counts Ne 10 and Ne 16 certified by Schlafhorst.
Based in Shandong province, Zouping Tongda Textile employs two hundred staff producing 20,000 tonnes of weaving and knitting yarns annually in counts ranging from Ne 3 to Ne 40. Five Autocoro 8 machines are in operation in the mill in Zouping City.
In gaining the Belcoro seal of quality, Zouping Tongda Textile now belongs to the group of companies that guarantee first-class quality. Schlafhorst awards the Belcoro seal for Autocoro yarns, fabrics and products made from these yarns if they meet the Belcoro quality standards. Belcoro yarns are much sought after by weaving and knitting mills the world over, as they can be processed downstream smoothly and yield superb results.
"With the Belcoro certificate we can now market our high-speed yarns much better," says Liu Chengping of Zouping Tongda Textile. "It is a globally accepted symbol of the best quality in high-speed spinning. Belcoro opens the door to new markets for us."
The company has ambitious plans for the future, in which the Autocoro 8 plays a key role with its unique quality and productivity advantages. In the next five years the company would like to switch its production over completely to the single spinning position technology of the Autocoro 8, which holds great promise for the future.
