Pure-Fiber expands with Trützschler spinning technology

Pure-Fiber Textile Technology Co. Ltd is one of the biggest producers of Muratec Vortex Spun (MVS) yarns in China. The company operates the world’s biggest blow room that exclusively uses Trützschler bale-openers – with currently eight in one workshop. Now, it is building two new spinning plants and has signed a big contract for a full spinning preparation line with more than 500 machines from Trützschler, including blow room equipment, carding machines and draw frames.

In January 2025, senior representatives from Pure-Fiber and Trützschler celebrated a grand signing ceremony in Shanghai – honoring the latest milestone in a long-running partnership. The two companies have worked in close collaboration since 2015 to achieve outstanding quality and productivity for MVS. In fact, Pure-Fiber only uses spinning preparation line equipment made by Trützschler. Now, a new contract is shaping the future of this successful relationship.

Exciting plans for expansion

The agreement confirmed Pure-Fiber’s decision to buy another 168 TC 15 cards, 264 breaker and finisher draw frame heads and items of blow room equipment from Trützschler – on top of the 144 TC 15 cards purchased in 2023. These machines will be installed in the new spinning workshops that the company is building in Xuzhou. When it is finished, the Xuzhou Pure-Fiber facility will have 312 carding machines with the capacity to produce more than 200,000 tons of various yarns each year.

Blown away by bale-openers

In addition to the existing blow room line, Pure Fiber will install another huge blow room line with eight Trützschler bale openers in its new plant in Xuzhou. The plant uses first-class Trützschler pre-spinning equipment that offers low waste cotton rates, low energy consumption, high-yield and highspeeds with stable and reliable operations. Pre-spinning equipment is particularly important for the quality of MVS yarn. Xuzhou Pure-Fiber uses a full set of Trützschler blow room, carding and draw frame processes to ensure a solid foundation for producing high-quality yarn in subsequent steps of its MVS process.

That loyalty is driven by the first hand experiences of operators in the company’s mills. “Every day, our people get direct insights into the level of quality and productivity achieved with Trützschler’s innovations,” says Shen Jiawei, Equipment Manager at Pure-Fiber. “Trützschler has consistently proven to be the best choice for us.”

Trust in Trützschler technologies

Looking ahead, the next phases of Pure-Fiber’s ambitious expansion project will install more than 800 additional spinning preparation machines. It’s a big investment and a good reason for excitement about the future of this rapidly expanding company. And the Trützschler team is honored that Pure-Fiber has chosen to rely on their technical expertise and innovative equipment throughout its history – and at this stage of its growth.
