Zschimmer & Schwarz sets focus on ECOLUTION range for textile auxiliaries at ITMA 2023

At ITMA 2023 in Milan, Italy, Zschimmer & Schwarz will present its latest innovations for producers of man-made fibres, nonwovens and textiles. Among others, the company will present its wide range of products for the application areas of spin finishes, dyeing, pre-treatment, finishing and coating. The special focus this year will be on the tailor-made solutions of the ECOLUTION range for textile auxiliaries. This product range comprises sustainable, natural-based products that can be used for pre-treatment, dyeing and functional finishing.

Tailor-made innovations for fibre and textile auxiliaries

Zschimmer & Schwarz, the market leader in polyamide processing, has developed a new sustainable, plant-based premium fixing aid for polyamide fibres. ZETESAL ECO-FIX PA is free of any bisphenols, phenols and formaldehyde. It is vegan, eco-friendly and made of renewable raw materials. With this breakthrough development, Zschimmer & Schwarz fulfils all ecological requirements while ensuring highest fastness levels. Like all products of the ECOLUTION line, ZETESAL ECO-FIX PA is based on natural raw materials and complies with the legal requirements and current environmental directives of the textile industry. The ECOLUTION product line includes sustainable, nature-based products that can be used for pre-treatment, dyeing and functional finishing.

Another focus is presented by our subsidiary Lefatex: recyclable binders based on PET, PP or PA as well as binders base on renewable materials such as chitosan, which are also compostable. In addition, energy-efficient solutions will be presented to reduce the drying temperature to a minimum and thus contribute to reducing the environmental impact.
