Elbit Vision System's PRIN-TEX sales surge with follow-up orders of PRIN-TEX 2000 in North America
ELBIT VISION SYSTEMS? PRIN-TEX SALES SURGE WITH FOLLOW-UP ORDERS OF PRIN-TEX 2000 IN NORTH AMERICA
Elbit Vision Systems (EVS), the market leader in automatic fabric inspection and monitori
ng systems, continues to build major technology inroads with increasing sales in North America for its new PRIN-TEX 2000 system, an in-line textile fabric print monitoring system.
"We are extremely pleased to see the continued market acceptance for our PRIN-TEX 2000 system, as witnessed by follow-up orders from leading home fashion manufacturers in North America. Our steady penetration into this market demonstrates the competitive edge that our technology provides for the home fashions industry," stated Mike Lollis, EVS Vice President & Managing Director for North American Operations.
The PRIN-TEX 2000, the latest generation of the PRIN-TEX series, incorporates new state-of-the-art color CCD cameras. The system is designed to detect and pinpoint repetitive printing defects occurring during the rotary-screen printing process. It inspects 100 percent of the printed fabric, acquires the fabric images, and transfers the images to the system computer for real-time processing through image-understanding algorithms. It can detect misfits, lint, stick-ins, miss-color, insufficient paste, damaged or blocked screens, glue problems, and off-center and narrow prints.
The PRIN-TEX 2000 offers today's fabric printers a competitive advantage with early detection of print defects, allowing prompt corrective measures and enhanced operator awareness. The systems offers superior Return-On-Investment results through cost savings in labor, energy, raw materials, and fabric waste while improving print quality.
EVS continues to develop a wide variety of configurable and flexible automatic inspection solutions to meet the unique performance demands of each customer.
