ELBIT VISION SYSTEMS SELLS FIRST AUTOMATIC TIRE-CORD INSPECTION SYSTEM TO HYOSUNG CORPORATION, KOREA
Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: EVSN) announced today that the first installation of
their revolutionary I-TEX100TC - Automatic Tire-Cord Inspection System has been successfully completed. HYOSUNG CORPORATION, the world's largest tire-cord supplier, has installed the system at its Ulsan plant in Korea.

Tire-cord fabrics constitute the basis of tire production and play a vital role in the final quality of modern tires. The EVS I-TEX100TC system is installed at the end of the tire-cord dipping line, and provides 100% real-time automatic visual quality inspection of the production at line speed.
