An industry growing at a CAGR of 20 per cent to reach USD 28.7 billion, technical textiles is one of the most dynamic sectors in India. Techtextil India 2019, the leading platform to source products using technical textiles, reflects the industry with the biggest opening received this year. India’s first Hackathon for the industry along with Farmer’s Conclave will also be hosted during this edition. Toray endorsed the contractual agreement with JICA on Japanese technology of personal protective clothing

Toray Industries, Inc., made an agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in September 2019 to undertake a project to promote deployment and utilization of Japanese technology of the personal protective (personal protective equipment: PPE in general) to support strengthening infection risk control particularly for preparedness of the deadly infectious diseases such as Ebola Diseases (EVD) that had been spread during 2014-2016 in the Republic of Guinea.

Cinte Techtextil China confirmed for September 2020

Asia’s leading international trade fair for the technical textiles and nonwovens industry returns to Shanghai in 2020 for its 14th edition. The fair is confirmed to take place from 2 – 4 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, its home for the last three editions. The previous fair in 2018 hosted some 485 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, while there were 13,203 visits coming from 55 countries and regions.
