Sustainable, flexible, space-saving: Graywater treatment with 3d textiles
The demand for water in Germany is increasing and used water is not being utilized sufficiently. Graywater in particular, i.e. wastewater from showers, bathtubs and washbasins, offers great potential for further use. It can be brought to service water quality on site and reused for flushing toilets or watering gardens, for example. Thanks to flexible 3D textiles, it can even be used in almost any building to save space.

Walter Reiners Foundation Award for two ITA prizewinners

From March 20th to 22nd, 2024, the 3rd Dresden International Colloquium on Tailored Carbon Fibers took place after 2018 and 2021. This time, the RCCF hosted the event at the Radisson Blu Conference & Hotel Center in Radebeul, Dresden. Toray Industries, Inc., announced today that it has developed a diaper-embedded urination sensor that notifies caregivers when changes are necessary.
