Archroma to introduce assurance program for long-lasting color at PERFORMANCE DAYS alongside diverse end-to-end textile solutions

Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals towards sustainable solutions, is introducing its enhanced High IQ® Lasting Color assurance program at the upcoming PERFORMANCE DAYS in Munich. With elevated performance standards, the program meets consumers’ growing demand for longer-lasting garments. Additionally, it will also be showcasing end-to-end solutions that empower brands to satisfy diverse sportswear, sports fashion, athleisure and workwear consumers while delivering both sustainability and performance.

“With a forward-thinking approach to sustainable functional fabrics, Archroma helps brands offer the performance and benefits that today’s consumers expect—from optimal comfort and fit to effective moisture management, odor control and colors that stay vibrant, wash after wash. PERFORMANCE DAYS is the ideal platform for us to share innovations that add value and drive differentiation in competitive markets,” Dhirendra Gautam, VP Marketing, Archroma, said.

Garments that stay looking new, wash after wash

Archroma is evolving its well-established High IQ® performance assurance program to include its most innovative and sustainable intelligent textile effects. The updated program, which features refreshed hangtags and labels, will help mills and brands deliver performance, protection and comfort while meeting rigorous industry standards.

As the first High IQ® program to be reintroduced, High IQ® Lasting Color incorporates Archroma’s most innovative color-retention technologies to ensure that garments stay looking new for longer—with bright shades that retain their intensity and dark shades that stay dark. Powered by specially selected AVITERA® SE and NOVACRON® dyes, High IQ® Lasting Color also helps mills and brands reduce their environmental footprint by using up to 50% less water and energy in processing.

End-to-end solutions for every activity and every wear

Functional performance apparel must not only enhance the performance and comfort of the wearer, but also set trends in fashion and make a positive impact on sustainability.

Drawing on the industry’s broadest product portfolio, Archroma has a wide range of tailor-made sustainable solutions for sportswear, athleisure and workwear brands that want to offer benefits like long-lasting colors, effective moisture management, temperature regulation, odor control, protection and safety, improved durability, and comfort and fit.

Showcasing these capabilities, the Archroma team is bringing the company’s powerful end-to-end SUPER SYSTEMS+ solutions to PERFORMANCE DAYS. The SUPER SYSTEMS+ suite encompasses fiber-specific wet processing solutions with measurable environmental impact; durable colors and functional effects; and cleaner chemistries that eliminate harmful or regulated substances.

Visitors to PERFORMANCE DAYS will be able to experience specific Super Systems+ solutions, including EarthColors® technology, which creates high-performance dyes from food and agricultural waste; fluorine-free PHOBOTEX® durable water repellents; the new Sanitized® OX20 family of durable odor-neutralizing solutions; and the revolutionary AVITERA® GENERATION NEXT range of sustainable cellulosic dyes.
