Human Solutions and Vitronic together at the 6th 3D Bodyscanning Conference in Lugano
Vitronic and Human Solutions will showcase the new 3D VITUSbodyscan bodyscanner from 27 through 28 October 2015. Its applications range from anthropometric studies to solutions for the fashion industry.
The new color bodyscanner captures more than 150 body measurements within just a few seconds – completely automatically. The result is an almost photorealistic, colored image of the scanned person that provides accurate info about body dimensions and body shape – and that’s crucial if you want to determine and document the changes within a population in recent years.
Revise sizes classification in line with the relevant market The anthropometric serial measurement survey “Size NorthAmerica” hits all the right buttons here – because precise knowledge of human body dimensions and shapes is absolutely indispensable for the development of vehicles and apparel. 17,000 men, women and children will be measured in the US and Canada from mid-2016 and the results will be integrated into the iSize web portal, enabling the data to be interactively evaluated and analyzed. “The representative serial measurement survey "Size NorthAmerica" is the most extensive survey project on the North American continent to date, and we’re very excited about seeing how people have changed over time,” says Michael van Genabith, CEO of Human Solutions of North America.
3D changes the fashion world Another highlight will be presented by Sizzy, a French start-up company, which is targeting more satisfied customers and fewer returns for its online and mail order trade by acquiring customers’ individual body sizes with scanning cabins in its stores. March 2015 saw the first “Sizzy Center” open in Paris, and other stores will follow in the near future. Sizzy will also introduce the “Sizzy Mobile”, a vehicle with an integrated bodyscanner that can be used to measure people in different locations.
Compact information on 3D bodyscanning With a floor area of around 323 square feet, the Human Solutions/Vitronic booth is the largest at the conference – and it's packed with a wealth of innovations. The new VITUSbodyscan color scanner occupies center stage. It can be connected to an MtM solution and the Virtual Mirror, giving customers a totally integrated solution. Come see us at our booth in Room B2/3.
