AUTEFA Solutions and Batliboi host industry gathering in Mumbai

AUTEFA Solutions, together with its valued partner Batliboi Ltd., successfully hosted the "Nonwovens Industry Meet" at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mumbai. The event welcomed a large number of professionals from the Indian nonwovens industry to exchange ideas and explore cutting-edge solutions in nonwoven production.

The event focused on showcasing AUTEFA’s advanced technologies, including carded- crosslapped needle punching lines, airlay systems, spunlace, and thermobonding solutions. Attendees had the opportunity to learn how AUTEFA’s technologies help manufacturers achieve high productivity, operational flexibility, and significant energy savings.

“We are truly pleased with the strong turnout and the engaging conversations we had throughout the day,” said Roberto Degrandi, Regional Sales Director at AUTEFA Solutions. Alongside Amrish Kumar Gupta, Sales Manager India, he led the presentation of AUTEFA’s latest developments tailored to the growing demands of the Indian market.

The event also highlighted the importance of AUTEFA’s strategic partnership with the Batliboi Group, established in 2024. This cooperation ensures that customers in India and Nepal receive fast, customized service and long-term support.

AUTEFA Solutions offers turnkey lines and individual machines for a wide range of applications, including geotextiles, automotive felts, filter fabrics, insulation materials, and hygiene products. The company's Airlay technology, in particular, delivers superior thermal and acoustic insulation properties—addressing growing demands in construction and automotive sectors.

Sustainability played a central role during the event. As the nonwovens industry increasingly looks to recycling and upcycling, AUTEFA Solutions emphasized its capability to process mechanically and chemically recycled fibers, as well as fibrous raw materials in granulated form. These sustainable technologies enable manufacturers to create high-performance products from textile waste—turning environmental challenges into market opportunities.

With global reference installations and deep expertise, AUTEFA Solutions reaffirmed its position as a reliable innovation partner for the Indian nonwovens industry, committed to enabling long- term success through energy efficiency, reduced maintenance, and operational excellence.
