Carrington Textiles receives JOSCAR accreditation

Global workwear textile manufacturer, Carrington Textiles, has announced the company’s recent JOSCAR accreditation which works as a compliance system for suppliers to the defence, aerospace and security industry.

This certification system that operates in the Defence, Aerospace and Security sectors helps determine if a supplier is fit for business.

The ‘Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register’ (JOSCAR) is a collaborative tool used to act as a single source for pre-qualification and compliance information. Membership is designed to improve efficiency of both the supplier and buyer communities by ensuring that companies only use products and solutions of the highest quality and that comply with best practices.

Carrington Textiles Sales Director, Paul Farrell, says: “Holding this accreditation will make the process of trading in these sectors easier. We’ve been a long serving supplier to many armed forces and believe that the JOSCAR accreditation will benefit our future trading relationships in the industry”.

Lenzing reports improved half-year results and advances strategic transformation

Despite a persistently challenging market environment in the first half of 2026, characterized by volatile energy and raw material prices, subdued global consumer demand and intensified competition from Asia, the Lenzing Group significantly improved its financial performance. Net result after tax more than doubled to EUR 35.6 million, compared with EUR 15.2 million in the first half of 2025. Free cash flow increased to EUR 45.8 million, while EBITDA amounted to EUR 239.2 million. Revenue totaled EUR 1.27 billion, compared with EUR 1.34 billion in the previous year.
