Reducing production costs with the new RX 6.1 circular loom

(c) 2016 Starlinger: RX 6.1 circular loom
Starlinger & Co. Ges.m.b.H. will present the RX 6.1, the latest model of the successful RX loom series, at Chinaplas 2016. With an IQ (Indicator of Quality – the average number of fabric meters produced without a warp break) of more than 200 and its high production efficiency, the RX 6.1 together with the other RX models rank among the looms with the lowest production costs per fabric meter.

Designed for light to medium-weight fabric made of polypropylene and HDPE tapes, the RX 6.1 circular loom can also process polyester tapes. With a production speed of 920 picks/minute and working widths from 850 mm to 1300 mm double flat it is the perfect addition to the models RX 6.0 (for lightweight tubular fabrics and normal sack widths) and RX 8.0 (for heavy, high-strength fabrics and big bags). The weaving process is completely oil-free, which ensures optimum coating adhesion and makes the produced sacks safe for food packaging. Due to the greater working widths also flat fabric for tubed multi-layer sacks can be produced on the RX 6.1.

What is characteristic for all Starlinger circular looms also applies to the RX 6.1: best fabric quality and highly efficient production – which, at the bottom line, reduces the sack production costs. This corresponds fully to Starlinger’s technical development strategy, which aims to make the production process more economic for sack producers by means of innovative technology. Due to the high efficiency and easy and cost-efficient operation of the RX looms, Starlinger was able to expand its market presence particularly in Asia in the past years. Visit Starlinger at Chinaplas 2016 from April 25 to April 28: Hall W1, Stand B41.
