Stäubli will introduce its new S3292 dobby at ITME India 2026, taking place from December 4 to 9 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Designed for high-speed air-jet weaving, the new machine will be among the highlights of the company's presentation, which also includes warp preparation systems, cam motions, Jacquard technologies and digital services.

Visitors can meet Stäubli in Hall 14, Booth B2.

India's textile industry covers a broad spectrum of applications, including apparel fabrics, home textiles, denim and technical textiles. As weaving mills modernize their production facilities, increasing productivity, maintaining fabric quality and accommodating frequent style changes remain important requirements.

Stäubli will present a range of complementary technologies designed to address these challenges across warp preparation and weaving.

New S3292 dobby designed for high-speed air-jet weaving

The new S3292 expands Stäubli's range of rotary dobbies and has been developed specifically for high-speed air-jet weaving applications.

Operating at speeds of up to 1,200 rpm, depending on loom parameters and application, the dobby supports configurations with up to 12 frames. Its optimized movement is designed to extend the service life of frames and heddles.

The S3292 is particularly suited to denim production and has been tailored to the requirements of the Indian weaving market

Alongside the new dobby, Stäubli will showcase its S1792 cam motion, designed for high-volume production of fabrics with simple weave patterns.

The S1792 supports up to 10 frames and can reach operating speeds of up to 1,400 rpm, depending on loom settings and application. It is intended for applications requiring high productivity on air-jet weaving machines.

Warp preparation technologies for flexible production

In warp preparation, Stäubli will present the SAFIR PRO S47 automatic drawing-in machine.

The system handles a broad range of yarns and applications, including denim, cotton fabrics, coarse and fancy yarns, and technical yarns such as glass fibers. With drawing-in speeds of up to 190 ends per minute and Active Warp Control 2.0, the SAFIR PRO S47 is designed to maintain preparation quality while supporting frequent style changes.

The TOPMATIC warp knotting machine will also be presented. It processes a wide range of staple fiber and filament yarns with minimal adjustments.

Single- and double-knot capabilities, together with double-end detection in warps with or without a 1:1 lease, are designed to support reliable knotting quality and efficient warp changes.

Jacquard technologies for decorative and technical fabrics

For Jacquard weaving, Stäubli will showcase the LX PRO Jacquard machine, available in configurations ranging from 4,608 to 12,288 hooks.

The system is designed for a wide range of applications, including flat fabrics, terry cloth and technical textiles, and can be used on air-jet and rapier weaving machines. Applications include upholstery, tapestry, silk fabrics, apparel textiles and other woven products requiring precise pattern control.

Stäubli will also present the N4L PRO, developed for weaving labels and logos on selvedges and across flat fabrics, terry cloth and technical textiles.

Digital services and spare parts management

In addition to its machinery portfolio, Stäubli will demonstrate the MyStäubli digital portal and its online services.

A touchscreen at the exhibition stand will allow visitors to explore the platform, including online spare parts ordering and services designed to support equipment management throughout its operating life.

With its presentation at ITME India 2026, Stäubli will highlight technologies for improving productivity, flexibility and process reliability across the weaving value chain, with the new S3292 dobby representing a key addition to its machinery portfolio.

D’Decor demonstrates long-term reliability in industrial weaving

An example of Stäubli's long-standing presence in the Indian textile industry is its cooperation with D’Decor, one of India's leading manufacturers and exporters of curtain and upholstery fabrics.

Founded in 1999, D’Decor has worked with Stäubli for more than two decades. Its production facilities operate 300 Jacquard machines, 220 dobbies and 15 automatic tying machines, including TOPMATIC and MAGMA systems.

The equipment supports high-volume manufacturing, consistent fabric quality and the flexibility required to produce a wide range of decorative textile designs.

“We run our machines 24/7 for almost the entire year. Some of the Stäubli machines installed decades ago are still running perfectly today. That is the true measure of quality and reliability,” said Ajay Arora, Managing Director of D’Decor Home Fabrics.

The cooperation illustrates the importance of equipment reliability and long service life in large-scale textile manufacturing, where continuous production and machine availability are essential.
