Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2025 to feature comprehensive product diversity

As the highly anticipated fair approaches, exhibitors are preparing to spotlight the latest developments in the home textiles industry. Taking place from 20 – 22 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, this leading event will bring together key players from across the sector. Visitors can expect to discover emerging trends in bedding, towelling, carpets, rugs, table and kitchen linens, upholstery, curtain fabrics, and more.

Emphasising sustainability and technological innovation, the fair mirrors the shifting priorities of China’s home textile market, where interest in environmentally responsible materials and smart design is rapidly increasing. Dedicated product zones and halls will help visitors navigate the wide array of offerings, reinforcing the fair’s importance as a central hub for industry collaboration and growth.

China's home textile industry has evolved into a sophisticated sector marked by extensive technological integration across the value chain. This transformation is reflected in advanced smart manufacturing capabilities that enhance design, R&D, dyeing, processing, and logistics. As consumer preferences shift, there’s rising demand for sustainable materials like cotton, wool, and bamboo. Urban markets increasingly favour customisation and premium products, further energising the industry. Innovative smart home textiles are also emerging, featuring advancements such as temperature regulation and antibacterial properties, catering to modern consumer needs.[1]

Amid this backdrop, the upcoming fair serves as a pivotal event for industry stakeholders. By highlighting cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices, the fair offers a platform for exhibitors to connect with potential partners and customers eager to explore these advancements. Across 100,000 sqm, each hall will focus on a distinct product category: Brand Fabrics Hall (H5.1), featuring home textiles and decorative items that enhance interior aesthetics and comfort; International Brands & Household Hall (H6.1), showcasing overseas brands that present a comprehensive range of home textile products; Trendy Fabrics Hall (H5.2), dedicated to decorative fabrics, sofa fabrics and curtain fabrics; and Furniture Fabrics Hall (H6.2), highlighting innovative fabrics for furniture.

Within these specialised halls, featured exhibitors from various sub-sectors will showcase the full spectrum of the home furnishing industry, including:

Upholstery and sofa fabrics:

Love Home Fabrics (Belgium): specialises in various brands that cater to different aspects of textile design and production, including latex and foam solutions. The company’s collections, made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET bottles, exemplify its commitment to environmental protection.

Rioma S L (Spain) (new): Rioma has been designing and manufacturing upholstery and home decor textiles for 50 years. Renowned for its innovative and sustainable designs, the company is celebrated for its stylish decorative concepts throughout Europe.

Other featured exhibitors in this category include Kaeen Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) (new) and Wujiang Enzo Textiles (China).

Bedding:

Everpia JSC – Branch (Vietnam) (new): Everpia JSC operates three manufacturing facilities located in Hanoi, Hung Yen and Dong Nai, with a total production capacity of 10 million bedding products and 30 million yards of cotton sheets annually. In the Vietnamese market, Everpia's products are consistently associated with superior quality and a diverse range of labels.

Jaspa Herington P/L (Australia): as a loyal exhibitor of the fair since 2008, Jaspa Herington specialises in Australian-made wool quilts, pillows, and wool underlays, all crafted from 100% Australian wool. Their products are targeted towards the middle and premium market segments.

Curtains and sun protection:

Dersiyon Tekstil San Tic Ltd Sti (Türkiye): at the fair, the company will showcase its sustainable fabric collection, featuring fire-resistant, natural blended, antibacterial, and recycled textiles designed for hotels, hospitals, large-scale contract projects and residential use.

Hangzhou Longshi Textle Co Ltd (China): the company’s Dragonstone Textile (DT) offers a comprehensive range of basic and fancy blackout and dim-out curtains, upholstery, and sheer fabrics from stock and mill production.

Other featured exhibitors in this category include Zhejiang Hexin Holding Group Co Ltd (China) and Guangzhou Yuan Zhicheng Home Textile (China).

Designer studio:

Art House Design (Netherlands): the company specialises in selling designs for textiles and wallpaper, featuring the work of around 20 talented artists from Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK. Art House Design’s collections suit a variety of applications, including bedding, kitchenware, wallpaper, and stationery.

Patterns from Agency (Finland) (new): the company will present new collections of pattern designs in a Nordic style, featuring elegant, charming and whimsical concepts.

Other featured exhibitors in this category include Tela’s Design Lda (Portugal) and Studio 1987 LLC (USA) (new).

Leather: 

BLW Manufacture International Co Ltd (Hong Kong) (new): BLW is a trusted specialist in high-quality polyurethane (PU) synthetic leather, supported by certified production facilities and advanced technology. The company serves global markets across fashion, furniture, automotive, marine, hospitality and healthcare industries.

Zhejiang Kancen New Material Technology Co Ltd (China): the company has made a ground-breaking advancement in the synthetic leather industry with the development of an innovative solvent-free manufacturing technology, known as CPU synthetic leather. Industry experts have dubbed it the “Tesla of synthetic leather”.

Additionally, the Green Product Display Zone encompasses the entire home textile industry chain, covering everything from raw materials and fabrics to finished products and recycling. The zone will showcase achievements in green and sustainable development, including organic cotton, recycled fibres and biodegradable materials. The displays will also highlight health functions, sustainable production processes, and green home solutions, encouraging enterprises to prioritise environmental protection.
