From August 18–21, the new 2,600-square-meter exhibition area, strategically located behind Halls 1 and 4, will open with 100% occupancy. The launch further strengthens the long-standing partnership between Parque Vila Germânica and Febratex. In 2024, the trade fair inaugurated the venue's new Boulevard area and now once again serves as the first event to showcase another stage in the modernization of Blumenau's leading exhibition and convention center.

The full occupancy reflects the strong momentum of the textile industry. With all exhibition space sold out well before the event, the organizers see the result as an indicator of the industry's confidence and the renewed willingness to invest across the textile value chain.

"Inaugurating this new space now is, above all, a response to market demand. While Parque Vila Germânica provides the infrastructure needed for the city to grow, we are using this additional capacity to accommodate an industry that has been calling for more exhibition space," said Hélvio Pompeo Madeira, President of the Febratex Group.

According to Madeira, the expansion addresses a key capacity constraint. "We are experiencing a period of strong investment in technology, and we needed to offer an exhibition environment that reflects this evolution. The expansion allows us to welcome companies that previously could not participate and ensures that innovation takes place here with the scale and comfort today's textile industry expects."

With the addition of the new exhibition area, Febratex 2026 will expand to 10 exhibition sectors, including temporary halls located near the Galegão Arena. Compared with the previous edition, the exhibition gains an additional 4,700 square meters, bringing the total exhibition space to approximately 40,000 square meters.

The organizers expect around 670 exhibitors representing approximately 3,300 brands from 65 countries, while visitor attendance is projected to reach 80,000.

The economic impact of the event is significant. According to the organizers, Febratex influences approximately 40% of business transactions in Brazil's textile industry and has established itself as a key platform for investment decisions and the modernization of textile manufacturing facilities throughout the country.
