Febratex 2026 to be the largest edition of the leading textile trade fair in the Americas with 10 exhibition halls
Now in its 19th edition, Febratex will provide even greater opportunities for industry professionals and business leaders to explore the latest trends, technologies, and solutions in the textile sector. Compared to the 2024 edition, the exhibition area has been expanded by 4,765 square meters, bringing the total exhibition space to approximately 40,000 square meters across 10 exhibition halls.
In addition to the expanded exhibition space, the 2026 edition introduces several new features, including the Febratex Summit Preview, a conceptual extension of the Febratex Summit featuring discussions on the future of the fashion industry and its technological, production, and environmental transformation. Other highlights include Radar Têxtil, developed by the trend platform New & Now, offering an immersive experience that connects international trend research with raw materials and practical product applications; a workshop led by textile engineer Priscila Faiad, a specialist in fabric quality and supplier development for fashion brands and manufacturers; the Startup Corner, a dedicated space for startups and emerging solutions across the textile and fashion value chain; and the Zero Waste Project, focusing on the sustainable management of waste generated during the exhibition.
"These initiatives demonstrate how the exhibition has evolved beyond showcasing machinery and equipment, becoming a platform for knowledge, innovation, and the transformation of the fashion industry," said Giordana Madeira, Executive Director of the Febratex Group.
Recognized as the most strategic event in the textile industry's calendar, Febratex attracts a significant share of investment decisions every two years. According to internal exhibitor surveys and post-event analyses, approximately 40% of business transactions in the Brazilian textile sector are initiated during the exhibition, many driven by investments in modernizing production facilities. This positions the event as a key marketplace for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, researchers, and technology developers.
With the 2026 edition, Febratex further strengthens its role as a platform for innovation and industrial development by presenting experiences that connect industry, research, technology, sustainability, and product development. The event will bring together companies, institutions, and experts representing advances in fashion manufacturing and technical textiles in Brazil and around the world.
Febratex 2026 outlook
The organizers expect around 670 exhibition stands, representing approximately 3,300 brands from about 65 countries. Exhibitors will range from leading machinery and raw material suppliers to startups, technology providers, fiber manufacturers, chemical companies, and developers of digital solutions.
"Febratex 2026 reinforces Blumenau's position as the meeting point for textile innovation in the Americas. We are preparing an even stronger edition with 10 exhibition halls and a carefully curated program focused on productivity, sustainability, and practical results for the industry. Visitors will experience live technology demonstrations, application-oriented content, and genuine business opportunities," said Hélvio Roberto Pompeo Madeira, President of the Febratex Group.
Visitor registration
The previous edition of Febratex featured 2,700 brands across 550 exhibition stands, covering more than 35,000 square meters in seven exhibition sectors at Parque Vila Germânica and the Galegão Arena. The event welcomed approximately 80,000 visitors, and the organizers expect to maintain or exceed that figure in 2026 with professionals from the entire textile value chain, both from Brazil and abroad.
Visitor registration is free of charge and can be completed via the official website until 12:00 noon on August 10, 2026. After that deadline, online registration will close, and tickets will be available for purchase at the venue for R$ 50.
