BCF S8 Tricolor meets the need for the trend towards multiple colours

Oerlikon Neumag has found the right approach for its customers with the efficient BCF S8 carpet yarn system in Monocolor and Tricolor versions. Their solution is once again in the spotlight at this year's DOMOTEX asia / CHINAFLOOR from March 24 – 26, 2021 in Shanghai. Their audience of professionals can see the advantages for themselves at Oerlikon Neumag exhibition stand W3 D26.

Whether Monocolor or Tricolor, the performance data and technological details of the BCF S8 ver-sions have already made a huge impression at numerous exhibitions and road shows: With up to 700 filaments per thread, the BCF S8 significantly outperforms its sister, the BCF S+ (400 filaments), also guaranteeing finer titres of up to 2.5 dpf. In addition to that, the process speed of the new Witras III-37 winder is higher than ever at 3,700 m/min – and provides increased throughput of up to 15 percent in comparison to previous technologies. The bottom line is a system efficiency of 99 percent, as well as possible energy savings of up to 5 percent per kilogramme of yarn.

From a mélange to strict separation – the trend towards multiple colours for carpets goes on. The options for differentiating product for carpet yarn manufacturers are better than ever with the BCF S8 due to even more flexible colour mixture versions. More than 200,000 different colour shades derived from three colours are provided by the core component of the process, the new patent-pending CPC-T (Colour Pop Compacting unit).

Barmag showcases pump solutions for demanding PU applications at PU China 2026

At PU China, taking place November 3–5, 2026, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center in Shanghai, Barmag’s Pumps Division will present high-performance metering solutions for the processing of polyurethane systems (Hall 1, Booth 135). Barmag presents metering pump solutions at ASE China

From September 15 to 17, 2026, Barmag’s Pumps Division will present its solutions for the precise delivery and metering of adhesives, sealants, and other high-viscosity media at ASE China at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The focus of the exhibition will be on high-precision gear metering pumps that help plant managers sustainably optimize material usage, process stability, and product quality. (Booth E4235).

DOMOTEX Southeast Asia 2026 - Building the Gateway to ASEAN's fast-growing flooring market

From 11–13 November 2026, the inaugural DOMOTEX Southeast Asia will take place at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre) in Bangkok, Thailand. Object Carpet tests production of rPET BCF yarn on Neumag BCF line

In a joint project with Object Carpet GmbH, Denkendorf; the Institute for Textile Technology (ITA), Augsburg; and Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen GmbH (NGR), Feldkirchen, Austria, Barmag investigated the processing of recycled polyester for BCF yarn. The goal was to evaluate the fundamental suitability of 100% recycled carpet material for reuse in carpet yarn production to create a closed-loop system in carpet manufacturing. To date, commercial rPET BCF processes have been based solely on rPET from bottle pellets.

Mayer & Cie. Global gears up tor ITMA Asia 2026

Mayer & Cie. Global will focus on mattress fabric production at ITMA Asia, taking place in Shanghai from 20 to 24 November 2026. The company will showcase one of its flagship models for this application: the OVJA 2.4 EM. Joining the mattress fabric specialist will be an OV 3.2 QCe, presented at ITMA Asia in a configuration for knitting double-face fabrics in E40. This gives the OV 3.2 QCe a combination of capabilities rarely found in the market.
