SMIT TEXTILE opens a new service centre in Hangzhou, pcr

The Chinese textile industry is the largest in the world, reaching one third of the global textile production and representing the most important market for textile machinery, an opportunity that SMIT TEXTILE meets both with the introduction of innovative weaving machines and with the provision of thorough services. The company?s goal is to strengthen the relationship with Chinese textile industry through product excellence, quality and creativity ensured by its machinery, together with excellent pre- and after sale service. The new Service Centre will provide customers with weaving expertise, tests, training, technical assistance and Original Spare Parts service. Learning how to use and service weaving machines is extremely important to ensure their optimal performance. Basic and advanced courses, but also customized training programs, are held at SMIT TEXTILE Service Centres, in order to meet specific organizational requirements of each textile company. Promotion in China Intensive promotional activity has been carried out by SMIT TEXTILE, attending the most important event of the Chinese market: - CISMEF, China International Small and Medium Enterprise Fair, held in September 2006, promoted by Italian Government, by Central Chinese Ministries for Finance and Commerce and Guandong Province Government
- CINTE TECHTEXTIL in Shanghai from Sep19th till 21st, an event dedicated to technical textiles and nonwovens - CITME Beijing, held in October 2006. Many customers and qualified visitors were appreciating the renowned rapier weaving machine GS900 exhibited in production with premium denim, as well as the air-jet weaving machine JS900 weaving polyester cotton apparel, getting also news on other SMIT products - including the GS900F Terry Weaving Machine. - ITALIAN TEXTILE MACHINERY WORKSHOP IN SUZHOU, organized by Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) and the Italian Trade Commission (ICE). In this occasion, the SMIT TEXTILE solutions to produce technical fabrics were presented. A profitable discussion with very specialized Customers was held, aiming at disclosing any technological and innovative system to produce special technical fabrics for all applications.
SMIT TEXTIL E now looks forward to next appointments to meet its customers: ITMA MUNICH (DE) from next Sept 13th till 20th and ITMA ASIA /CITME joint together for the 2008 Shanghai edition to be held in July 2008.
