Premiere for the CHIC Pavillon "Fashion China" at Who's Next

From 2 to 4 September 2023, twenty leading Chinese fashion brands will present themselves for the first time on an international platform under the umbrella of CHIC, China International Fashion Fair. On 900 sqm CHIC presents the FASHION CHINA pavilion at Who's Next with an exquisite selection of Chinese womenswear, menswear, sportswear, and hats.

  • Exquisite selection of Chinese fashion in high quality and special styles and signatures


A number of China's best designer labels will showcase in Paris their design expertise. Womenswear is represented by Ellassay, Laurèl (founded in Munich, Germany), JNBY, LUO ZHENG, RAXXY (women and men), KEYONE (hats for women, men, kids, no gender), Thread & Story, MAY D.WANG Cashmere & Silk, Yvonne CHOI, SE JIE, VAN SUNSUN, SELAH, EXTENDED, ARYA CASH, JORE BAUDRY, CANMADE and HEMPEL International.

Menswear is represented by KB Hong by K-BOXING and JOEONE. Exclusive sportswear will be shown by FENGGY.

Luo Zheng (Ms.) and Hong Boming with his brand KB Hong by K-BOXING are winners of the Top China Fashion Designer "Jinding Award". Luo Zheng was the first Chinese womenswear designer to show at New York Fashion Wek (2008). KB Hong (K-Boxing) has been organising fashion shows at Milan Fashion Week since 2020.

Ge Feng - with her brand FENGGY, the exclusive sportswear collection -,SELAH and Luo Zheng count to the best 10 China Fashion Designers awarded by the China Fashion Association.

JOEONE, specialist for men's trousers and one of the most successful Chinese fashion brands is represented at Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. There as well shows RAXXY, China's top downwear brand and first fashion brand to have a fashion show on the Great Wall wowing the international fashion world. Also represented in Milan is Ellassay, one of the most successful womenswear labels in China with annual sales of US$ 300 million.




Cai Yiwen with her label YVONNE-CHOI, Chen Lishan with VAN SUNSUN and Vivian He with SEJIE are among the top 10 fashion designers in Shenzhen, China's fashion metropolis and boomtown, awarded the Fashion Prize of the Shenzhen Fashion Designer Association.

Internationally, many of the brands already sell through online shops such as KeyOne, a multi-brand label with its own museum for hats in China and organiser of the China Hat Festival. An international online shop owns the womenswear label

JNBY, which is already working in parallel with agencies in Japan and Australia. May D. Wang, cashmere & silk specialist, is present in the UK.

FASHION CHINA is planned as a prelude to the presentation on further international platforms and is to complete CHIC's offer as a service point for Chinese fashion brands in the future.

Around 500 exhibitors with international participation from Europe and Asia are expected at the next CHIC in Shanghai from 28 to 30 August. CHIC - China International Fashion Fair is organised by China National Garment Association in cooperation with China World Trade Center Co. Ltd.

Lenzing commissions 14 MW power‑to‑heat facility, strengthening grid stability and heat management

The Lenzing Group has successfully commissioned a new power‑to‑heat (P2H) facility with an electrical capacity of 14 megawatts. The installation converts renewable electricity directly into process heat, is fully integrated into the existing heat network at the industrial site, and represents a key building block for a fossil‑free heat supply. As project partner, VERBUND was responsible for the energy‑market integration and will operate the facility for balancing energy marketing, enabling it to respond flexibly to short‑term fluctuations in the power grid.
