37th IAF World Fashion Convention (November 2022 in Dhaka Bangladesh) – Registration now open

IAF is proud to invite the global apparel industry to its 37th World Fashion Convention that the global industry body is organizing with its Bangladeshi members, BGMEA and BKMEA.

Registration for these events has now opened on the joint, dedicated convention website www.iafconventiondhaka.com. The Convention will contain a full day conference and a network dinner, both held on Tuesday November 15 as well as an industry tour held on Wednesday November 16 and/or Thursday November 17.

The theme of the convention is “Transforming Fashion Together “. The theme carries the message of supply chain collaboration and together with the strong industry associations BGMEA and BKMEA, IAF is sending the message that the major challenges of our industry today can only realistically be met when there is true collaboration between buyers and their suppliers. Bangladesh, as the second largest garment exporting country in the world is the perfect venue to experience that garment manufacturers play a pivotal role in a successful industry transformation, forming a source of solutions to the industry’s current major problems.

During this convention, there will be constant discussion about practical solutions to such industry challenges as digitalization, sustainability and more effective business models involving the entire supply chain. This Convention will have a hands-on, business like and solution-oriented approach which distinguishes the IAF World Fashion Convention from many other conferences.

IAF conventions are well established industry events featuring a high level of speakers and delegates. Previous speakers came from PVH, H&M, Hugo Boss, Desigual, Disney, VF, Zegna, Interloop, Adriano Goldschmied and Vivienne Westwood, as well as McKinsey, BCG, the ILO, the World Bank, the OECD and London College of Fashion. We expect about 300 delegates at each event, from over 20 countries. Many of our guests are industry leaders, company owners and leaders of industry associations. In addition, our events attract public authorities, NGOs and Academia.

Texprocess 2026: Automation, digitalisation and AI redefine textile processing

Texhibition Istanbul signals stability and global connectivity

From 4 to 6 March 2026, Texhibition Istanbul once again brought together the international textile industry at the Istanbul Expo Center. Organized by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. in cooperation with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB), the fair confirmed its role as one of the most important international sourcing platforms for fabrics and textile innovation. With 500+ exhibitors across 5 halls on 42,850 sqm, the trade fair attracted 19,325 visitors. Among them, 5.565 international visitors represented Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, North America, and other regions, underlining the show’s expanding global reach.

Solving the Feedstock Gap: Unlocking Post-consumer Feedstocks for Textile-to-Textile Recycling in Europe

Fashion for Good launches Project FAE (Feedstock Activation Europe) to develop the sorting and pre-processing infrastructure needed to channel non-rewearable post-consumer textiles into textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling at scale. The project is a practical response to one of the most pressing problems in textile circularity: making post-consumer waste a viable, commercially competitive raw material for recyclers.

Speed and connectivity: Techtextil and Texprocess provided market-ready solutions for industries under pressure

With more than 36,000 visitors and 1,700 exhibitors from a total of 112 countries, Techtextil and Texprocess 2026 demonstrated how innovation comes into industrial use. The convergence of research, industry and application proved to be a breeding ground for new material solutions, manufacturing and processing technologies. Natural fibres, performance apparel, connected systems and AI-driven processing technologies emerged as key growth and future markets.

Italian Textile Machinery heads to Geneva for Index 2026

An important delegation of Italian companies will exhibit at the upcoming INDEX 2026, the world’s leading event for the nonwovens sector, taking place from May 19 to 22 in Geneva (Switzerland). Numerous Italian exhibitors will be present within the Italy Pavilion, organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and ACIMIT, an exhibition area of over 140 square meters dedicated to the latest innovations proposed by the Italian industry.
