CHIC Shanghai March 2020 postponed

In order to effectively protect the health of exhibitors, trade visitors, staff and the public and to ensure an efficient trade fair for all participants, the date of the CHIC, China International Fashion Fair, originally planned from March 11 to 13, 2020, has been postponed.

CHIC Organizing Committee apologizes for any inconvenience. At the same time, all activities will be continued so as not to impair the successful execution of the postponed event.

CHIC Organizing Committee will actively respond to the development of the epidemic situation and negotiate with the relevant authorities to set a new extension period. As soon as this has been determined, CHIC Organizing Committee will publish the new date for the event.

Autumn edition of China’s largest fashion and lifestyle trade fair closed successfully

With more than 650 premium exhibitors covering around 60,000 square meters, CHIC once again proved to be Asia’s most significant fashion trade fair in its Autumn 2025 edition. More than 60,000 professional visitors attended, engaging in direct orders, networking, and market exploration.

Texhibition Istanbul to bring together more than 500 exhibitors for 10th edition

The 10th edition of Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair will take place from 9 to 11 September 2026 at Istanbul Expo Center. More than 500 exhibiting companies across five halls and 42,850 square metres will present new-season collections, materials and technologies, bringing together Türkiye’s textile production strength with an increasingly international sourcing community.

IFCO Istanbul strengthens international reach with 12,550 trade visitors

The tenth edition of Istanbul Fashion Connection (IFCO), held from 19 to 21 August 2026, attracted 12,550 trade visitors from 117 countries to the Istanbul Expo Center. More than 200 exhibitors presented collections, manufacturing expertise and sourcing solutions across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, denim, eveningwear, lingerie, hosiery, accessories and homewear.

European textile industry calls for €10 handling fee on ultra-fast-fashion imports

The introduction of the €3 customs duty on low-value imports marks an important milestone in Europe’s efforts to address the challenges created by the rapid growth of ultra-fast-fashion imports. Together with the abolition of the €150 customs duty exemption, it demonstrates that policymakers are willing to act when market distortions become impossible to ignore. RE&UP Recycling Technologies’ Next-Gen Cotton powers a new collection from Zalando’s private labels, marking a step forward in bringing textile-to-textile recycled fibers into commercial fashion production. Launching on Zalando in August, the collection comprises five t-shirts across YOURTURN by Zalando and Even&Odd by Zalando, made from a circular-knit fabric blending 80% organic cotton with 20% RE&UP Next-Gen Cotton — textile-to-textile recycled fiber produced from textile waste. This is the first time RE&UP's recycled fibers feature in Zalando's private label assortment.
