Trade fair starts with sales success

"The visitors come from the important textile regions of Southeast Asia and the Middle East - i.e. from China and mainly from India, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam. However, not only the number of visitors is o.k. but also the general mood at the trade fair", said Oliver Mathews. "As expected, there is a rather subdued demand from China but on the whole one can observe a great interest in Karl Mayer’s innovations and can see customers’ willingness to invest in new machines. Already on the first day of ShanghaiTex KARL MAYER managed to sell one of its newly developed machines."
