Renewcell hires Chief Technology Officer

Today, Renewcell signed an employment contract with Kristina Elg Christoffersson. Elg Christoffersson will join the company as Chief Technology Officer with overall responsibility for process and product development.

As CTO, she will be part of the company leadership team and report directly to the CEO. Elg Christoffersson is currently CTO at the Swedish dissolving pulp producer Domsjö Fabriker AB in Örnsköldsvik, which since 2011 is a subsidiary of the Indian company Aditya Birla Group, one of the worlds largest viscose fiber producers.

I’m very pleased to welcome Kristina to Renewcell. With her unique expertise around optimization of dissolving pulp for commercial viscose fiber production, she will make an important contribution to our work building a world leading dissolving pulp company, says Patrik Lundström, CEO of Renewcell.

Kristina Elg Christoffersson has a Ph.D. in chemistry and has worked on product and process development within dissolving pulp production since earning her degree in 2005. In addition to her current position as CTO, she has also been production manager and R&D manager at Domsjö Fabriker.

Elg Christoffersson assumes the position as CTO at Renewcell in August 2021.
