Bemberg and Anita Dongre collaborate once again to launch “BREATH” collection

A decade of shared belief finds its most refined expression

BembergTM and Anita Dongre present BREATH, a ready to wear collection of 18 key silhouettes, shaped by a common belief that true beauty is inseparable from caring for the environment.

This collaboration arrives in a landmark year: the 50th anniversary of BembergTM exports to India — marking not only a milestone of presence, but of purpose.

"This year marks the 50th anniversary of Bemberg's exports to India. We are delighted to collaborate with Anita Dongre, who shares many common philosophies regarding craftsmanship, in this momentous year", says Takeshi Iitaka, former General Manager of Bemberg Sales & Marketing Department 2, Asahi Kasei, Japan.

BREATH - Where comfort becomes fashion design

Comprising feminine and meticulously crafted pieces, BREATH translates nature's palette into wearable poetry. The color story mirrors the living world: greens of the tropics, tender ferns and ancient trees of the rainforests meeting the blues of clear skies and ocean depths.

Silhouettes for day and evening take shape in draped stoles, cascading lengths, translucent sarees, asymmetric necklines and fluid hems that move as the forest does — unhurried, effortless, alive. Each silhouette is conceived for subtropical climates, where elegance and ease must coexist, and where lightness becomes its own kind of luxury.

At the heart of the collection lies BembergTM — a fiber gentle against the skin, comfortable by nature, and biodegradable in soil and marine environments under certain conditions, it allows the wearer to move through the world with both grace and intention. To wear BREATH is to choose beauty that gives back — to the body, and to the living world that inspired it.

A shared sensibility

For ten years, Anita Dongre has chosen BembergTM — not by trend, but by alignment of principles and belief. BREATH is the natural continuation of that relationship.

"There's a kind of joy that only comes from making something with care. Not just for the woman who will wear it, but for the soil it will one day return to. That's the practice I keep coming back to", says Anita Dongre.

Discover BREATH — the collection that embodies craftsmanship, environmental care, and a quiet belief that fashion can be a force for good.
