New 2024 training dates

The CREATE DESIGN software solution accelerates the entire development and design process for knitwear and therefore the workflow from idea to market launch. A set of sophisticated features ensures greater speed and efficiency, including a Shape & Grading function to support the creation of a knitting pattern and size sets, a toolkit for developing digital structures with a wide range of creative possibilities, a colour generator and flexible yarn creation options.

In addition, patterns and textures can be exported from CREATE DESIGN and imported into any 3D software. This makes it easy to create photorealistic images of fully knitted garments.

The many possibilities and advantages of the Game Changer solution have just been demonstrated at Munich Fabric Start and Pitti Filati. The presentations were received with great interest. "We were able to present CREATE DESIGN to numerous guests. Fashion and knitwear designers in particular had many questions and saw advantages for themselves. They particularly appreciated the ability to quickly develop design variations digitally without having to order prototypes straight away," says Goran Sidjimovski, who works as a Technical Designer for KM.ON and STOLL.

Anyone who wants to learn how to use CREATE DESIGN professionally in their day-to-day work can book an online course with Goran Sidjimovski as a trainer.

Proven performance, optimised costs – the new RE 6 EL

Nowadays textile companies increasingly need to produce small production runs and respond to market changes with instantaneous pattern changes in order to operate profitably – meaning they require machines that offer maximum flexibility, reliability and cost efficiency. KARL MAYER understands the challenges of the market and is launching its new RE 6 EL. The Raschel machine offers the core strengths of the classic RSE 6 EL and essentially the same performance parameters, but has been further cost-optimised largely due to local production advantages. This makes the newcomer an efficiency champion in production, especially when it comes to frequent pattern changes.
