Launch of a new industry online portal with exciting content  

On October 18, 2022, my TEXTILE NEWS, the new online portal powered by the KARL MAYER GROUP, went live. The website for textile professionals opens a completely new, exciting media world in which everything revolves around the technologies of warp knitting, flat knitting, warp preparation, technical textiles and composites. Innovative textile production solutions will be presented, as will textile product and market developments. Other focal points are topics such as digitalization, sustainability, general market trends and business opportunities l.

Navigating the menus is easy with sub-menus aimed at information needs of textile producers, textile product brands, designers and product developers.

  • Under "Textiles in Use" the reader will find out how new and innovative warp knitted and flat knitted fabrics are used in a wide variety of applications and with a wide variety of designs.
  • The "Production" section focuses on textile manufacturing, with articles about new machines, new technological solutions, support products and digital products. Focus is on warp knitting, flat knitting, warp preparation, and composites.

The company, based in Albstadt-Tailfingen, had been undergoing insolvency proceedings in self-administration since its filing on 23 September 2025. As Schwarzwälder Bote reports, the insolvency court has now formally opened the proceedings, triggering the decision to wind down the business in an orderly process.
