The UPG-Stitch from Eltex is a technical achievement. With its robust zinc metal housing and small size, this little workhorse withstands rough treatment and is easy to fit on the machine. It works in unison with the industrial sewing machine, checking that the thread is moving in stitches and stops the machine when the thread is moving continuously or a thread breaks.

It operates on the piezoelectric principle, allowing it to handle all types of threads while at the same time being insensitive to dust, dirt, and humidity variations.

Eltex ETM, or Eltex Thread Tension Monitor, is the latest development of advanced on-line devices for sewing machines and similar applications. It enables the operator to keep the thread tension within the desired tension range for best operation and quality of the seam.

Communication is done through an RS422 interface to a PLC or similar electronic device.

Among its main features are the newly developed miniature sensor head which allows for better placement on the machine, the programmable measuring ranges with stop filter function and thread break detection.

Eltex Thread Sensor 15965 is the successor of the long-lived Stitch detecting sensor 15960-62. Based on customer demands, this newly developed thread sensor has been upgraded with a new processor and firmware, closed eyelets for better placement possibilities and an industry standard M12 connector.

It operates on the piezoelectric principle, allowing it to handle all types of threads while at the same time being insensitive to dust, dirt, and humidity variations.
