Hybrid trade show concept with various innovations for the entire manmade fibers industry

This year's trade fair appearance of Oerlikon's Manmade Fibers Division at ITMA ASIA + CITME will focus on the latest machine and plant developments as well as customer services around the motto "Clean Technology. Smart Factory." In Hall 7 of the China National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai, Oerlikon will present as one of the leading suppliers for high-end technology solutions for the entire manmade fibers industry its innovations from 12 to 16 June 2021 at its hybrid booth A48 on more than 225 m².

Oerlikon offers its customers solutions along the textile value production chain. The division with the competence brands Oerlikon Barmag, Oerlikon Neumag and Oerlikon Nonwoven thus supplies technology "From Melt to Yarn, Fibers and Nonwovens" for PET, PP, PA6 and other materials. Accordingly, the offers at the ITMA ASIA + CITME booth will be.

Barmag showcases pump solutions for demanding PU applications at PU China 2026

At PU China, taking place November 3–5, 2026, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center in Shanghai, Barmag’s Pumps Division will present high-performance metering solutions for the processing of polyurethane systems (Hall 1, Booth 135). The focus is on high-precision gear metering pumps that enable the exact delivery of PUR components as well as other high-viscosity and reactive media. With their high metering accuracy, they help reduce material consumption, stabilize processes, and ensure consistently high product quality.

Barmag presents metering pump solutions at ASE China

From September 15 to 17, 2026, Barmag’s Pumps Division will present its solutions for the precise delivery and metering of adhesives, sealants, and other high-viscosity media at ASE China at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The focus of the exhibition will be on high-precision gear metering pumps that help plant managers sustainably optimize material usage, process stability, and product quality. (Booth E4235).

German textile industry and retailers form alliance to shape textile EPR system

Germany’s textile and fashion industry and retail sector have joined forces to establish the “Alliance for Textile Circularity” (Allianz für textile Kreisläufe). Initiated by the German Textile and Fashion Industry Association (Gesamtverband textil+mode) and the German Retail Federation (HDE), the alliance aims to contribute industry expertise to the development of Germany’s future Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system for textiles and footwear.

Cascale launches member-led process to shape 2030 strategy

Cascale has launched a member-led process to define the industry alliance’s strategic direction for the next decade. At the Cascale Annual Meeting 2026 in Athens, CEO Ying McGuire announced that members will contribute to an industry system map that will inform Cascale’s 10-year vision, its 2030 strategy and priorities for 2027. The new strategy is scheduled to be finalized in December.
