The latest edition of the ITMA Sustainability Bulletin – the quarterly report on environmental performance from ITMA, the world's leading exhibition for textile manufacturing technology, is now available for download.
As preparations continue for ITMA 2015, CEMATEX recognises that sustainability will continue to be a topic of vital concern to manufacturers at all levels of the textile supply chain. In line with their mission to bring out the latest and most relevant intelligence, the ITMA Sustainability Bulletin is designed to keep people from textile business up-to-date with the latest environmental issues in textiles and the solutions available to address them.
The ITMA Sustainability Bulletin is a 10-pager with a couple of news about what happened in the terms of sustainability during the last weeks. It contains news from chemical companies like DyStar, Clariant and Huntsman and textile machinery manufacturers like Rieter. Very interesting is an insight with the title "New high-end applications for biopolymers" by Bas Krins, Director R&D at Applied Polymer Innovations. Also of interest is the commitment of Mr. Bruno Amelie, president of the French Textile Machinery Association (UCMTF), to sustainable development.
