Necip Güney: We Are Very Happy with the Great Attention of the Participants and Visitors

Necip Güney, Chairman of the Board of Teknik Fairs Inc. said, “As you know, the exhibitions were postponed due to the pandemic that affected the whole world. We held our last ITM exhibition 4 years ago. ITM 2022 is the first major international textile machinery exhibition in the world after 3 years. Companies that have been longing to meet their customers face to face for a long time and visitors who want to see the latest technological innovations up close were looking forward to ITM 2022. For this reason, leading brands operating in the textile technology sector from weaving to knitting, from yarn to dyeing to digital printing, which could not find the opportunity to exhibit the technologies they developed during the pandemic process, preferred our ITM Exhibition to make their world launches''.

President of TEMSAD Adil Nalbant said: “We are very happy to support the Teknik Fairs and Tüyap cooperation that has brought this fair to these days. The only sector in which our country can compete with the world is textiles. There is no other sector that is self-sufficient and can achieve this with half of 33 billion dollars of exports. I wish the fair to be beneficial for all our industry.” Adnan Dalgakiran, President of MAKFED, touched upon the importance of mechanization in his speech, while Ahmet Öksüz, ITHiB, expressed that the machinery sector is an integral part of textiles. He also added: ''Because we do both labor-intensive and machine-intensive work.. We are the 3rd importer of textile machinery in the world. At the same time, exports in textile machinery are also increasing. We are among the top ten countries in the world in exports. I hope that strong cooperation will be signed at the ITM 2022." TiM President Ismail Gülle said, “We are experiencing an incredible trend as a country. Especially after the pandemic, there is a great interest towards our country. Every time we came to the exhibiton, we saw a great environment of enthusiasm. We hope that it will be the same here."
