Italian textile machines on show at "INNOVATE TEXTILE & APPAREL VIRTUAL TRADE SHOW"

From 15 to 30 October 21 Italian textile machinery manufacturers will participate in the INNOVATE Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show, within the Italian Pavilion organized by the Houston (USA) office of Italian Trade Agency and ACIMIT, the Association of Italian textile machinery manufacturers. Each exhibiting company will have a virtual stand at its disposal in which e-meet visitors who register for the event.

“The health emergency due to Covid-19 has had obvious negative effects on the promotional initiatives of ACIMIT, Alessandro Zucchi, president of ACIMIT, explains. At a time when international travel to trade shows is being restricted, ACIMIT has experienced this new digital formula, organizing an Italian Pavilion together with Italian Trade Agency at the INNOVATE Textile & Apparel Virtual Trade Show".

“Waiting for resuming face-to-face gatherings with all of our customers we should thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Italian Trade Agency, adds Zucchi, for the support they have provided to the Italian textile machinery industry even in this difficult moment, accepting the main challenge launched by the pandemic: that of being ready for change”.

Italian textile machinery at TITAS 2026: strategic partnership and tailor-made solutions for the Taiwanese market

The excellence and innovative capabilities of Italian textile machinery technology are coming to Taipei for TITAS 2026 (Taiwan International Textile & Garment Machinery Show), the leading event for the island’s textile industry and the wider Asian region, scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 October 2026.

Italian textile machinery orders show quarterly recovery in Q2 2026

In the period between April and June 2026, order intake for Italian textile machinery manufacturers showed mixed but encouraging signals for the second half of the year. The order index at constant prices stood at 46.6 points (taking 2021=100 as the base year), showing a slight decrease of 3% compared to the same quarter of 2025. This trend was largely due to the contraction recorded in the domestic market, which fell by 25% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Textile machinery: Italian technology charts the course for revival

This is the main challenge for the Italian textile machinery industry that emerged during the General Assembly of ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), held today in Milan at the Shareholders’ Hall of Palazzo Edison.

Bangladesh: Italian textile machinery mission stops in Dhaka and Chittagong
