Ring frame modification for high quality CORE YARNS

RING FRAME MODIFICATION FOR HIGH QUALITY CORE YARNS

Recent years have revealed an increased demand for top quality ring spun CORE YARN, and increasingly exacting applications have favour

ed spun CORE YARN against the wrap CORE principle. Simple mechanical CORE YARN units have long been available on ring frames, but the current strong demand requires new production units: peak yarn quality with 100% Elastane cores centred inside the staple fibres without Elastane core breaks optimum production conditions with automatic fibre/filament guiding element traversing individual spindle monitoring systems which react immediately in the event of faults increased efficiency with Online Elastane drafting control etc. modular system for future market adaptation and optional combinations with AMSLER fancy yarn units. AMSLER, as an independent Swiss specialist in micro-processor-controlled drafting mechanisms for all ringframe models of any manufacture, has developed a new CORE YARN system in line with the latest state of the art, and with the following main advantages: individual spindle monitoring (filament sensors incorporated in the entry rollers) precise filament introduction into the fibre stream (newly developed roving condensers for the take-in roller and for the middle roller) new traversing unit synchronises all fibre/filament guiding elements (cycle time adjustable over a 60 to 240 minute cycle time) CAN-BUS networked Alarm system inside the ring frame for each spindle, segment, machine, and ultimately for the spinning room Servomotor drive system for filament delivery, with Online Elastane draft adjustment, ratio 1:1 to 1:5 integral roving stop unit activated by the AMSLER microprocessor system special CORE bobbin separators for fault-free running, plus a stop position in which the CORE bobbins are out of contact with the delivery rollers. AMSLER has developed the new CORE unit in line with market research and customer requirements. The AMSLER CORE unit provides for a CORE quality not manually attainable, and can be put flexibly together in accordance with automation requirements. Consequently, it is built on the modular principle in line with the neutral AMSLER principle that any ring frame can subsequently be modified independently of model or manufacturer. AMSLER CORE monitoring and the CAN-BUS networking system can also be retrofitted as add-on kit to existing mechanical CORE units on ring frames and two-for-one twisters.
